The Squid is an invertebrate (animal without a backbone) that swims in the oceans. This mollusk is closely related to the octopus. Squid can change the color of their skin to mimic their environment and hide from predators.
They move by squirting water from the mantle through the siphon, using a type of jet propulsion. When in danger, squid squirt a cloud of dark ink in order to confuse their attacker and allow the squid to escape. Squid reproduce by releasing eggs into the water. Some squid eggs are free-floating, others are attached to seaweed or to the ocean floor.

The moment came ! yesterday evening we inagurated the new address of Dive shop Mexico, and we shared this moment with some friends….we are located at 20 street between the famous 5th ave. and the 1st North ave. Come and meet us at the dive center !!!

Good morning !

10.55 am, we only had some rain and winds, with no damages. Dean touched  in Costa Maya (very south of Riviera Maya). Soon we will share with you some photos !

Martes, 10.50 am, afortunadamente el paso del huracan solo fue de lluvia y viento, pero solo como una tormenta tropical. El huracan Dean pego tierra en Costa Maya, aproximadamente a unos 300 km de Playa del Carmen. En breve compartiremos algunas fotos con Uds.

Monday, 19.35 pm…just arrived from our work and fun day. Today morning we have been diving in Chac-Mool, sunny day, calm, very nice weather and awesome dives !, after arriving to Playa del Carmen we went to the beach to do some Kitesurf.

Hurricane Dean moved south to Costa Maya and its expected that the eye hit in Mahajual, in spite of this everybody worked preventing homes, cars, shops, plants, etc. We took some pictures before the storm and if god wants we will take more after the hurricane to share with you, we are expecting water and wind more like a tropical storm but nature is nature so we can not afirm anything.
