The Objective of our trip to Playa del Carmen was to get the PADI Open water certification.
We have everything organized to do it with the Dive Center Aqua Inn at the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda, in which hotel we were staying, but the experience was too dissapointed. After this bitter experience we went to Playa del Carmen city and we started to talk with different dive centers. When we visited Dive Shop Mexico and when we met Laura and Natalia it was like live an underwater experience. With their patiente and kindness, and professional explication, they were able to give us confident in ourselves and try it one more time.
We decided to start the course with Dive Shop Mexico and Laura was our Instructor. She had a lot of patiente with us, and we received a very personalized course, taylormade and adapted to our needs, something unusual according to our experience ! During the pool classes, which were very pedagogic and well done, we could learn all the technics, and Laura never stop till we feel confortable and sure in each skill.
She gave us a lot of confident and we learnt how to dominate the skills that will be using in the ocean. During the course we did 4 open water dives in very nice dive sites and we could enjoy from morays to turtles and a lot of tropical fishes, like parrot fish, squirrel fish, etc. Laura y Natalia were in the inmersions very close to us and all time giving us their support. In the second, third and fourth inmersions we felt confident...thanks to Laura. This made we were able to enjoy our dives in a very special way.
My impression of Dive Shop Mexico, is the best. I am very happy to find these girls, that in spite of being pedagogics are patiente and experienced, and very pleasant and nice. We recommend to those who have the intention to get their Padi Open Water certification that you do it in Playa del Carmen where the underwater life is incredible and that contact with Dive Shop Mexico where you will recieve a personalized attention.

A BIG THANKS to Natalia,Amillia,Manuel and all the staff at Dive Mexico.Our open water certification course was very informative and FUN.The 4 reef dives were beautiful and Natalia pointed out many amazing things.She made us feel very relaxed and SAFE.Both Randy and I loved our expirience.We will be returning to Playa,and when we do we will stop by Dive Mexico first to plan more memorable dives with them.I hope Kooka and the puppies are doing well.

Just got back from a great holiday in Cancun and I must say that my dives with your company were a true highlight. I want to thank Amilia and Roberto especially. Manuel, you are privileged to have these two dive masters on your team. Both displayed professionalism, patience, clear and concise safe practice and personability. Amilia, thanks for the four pics that you sent to my friend Bruce and I. Bruce is in trouble now because his wife is VERY jealous that we had such good dives. Roberto, thanks for the excellent dives in Cenote Dos Ojos. This was an experience that I will never forget. (I watched \"The Cave\" when I got home to see the shots of the cenote in the film) Thanks also for your great sense of humor. I would recommend Dive Mexico to anyone looking to enjoy the diving opportunities in and around Playa and the Yucatan. Gracias por todos and see you next time.

We had had a fantastic time. Dve Mexico people are great, they make you feel like at home. Organization was very good and small groups.
Cenote diving was beautiful and just amazing the whale shark snorkel. All moment we felt cared by the organization. Thanks a lot from Spain !

Thanks to the staff at Dive Mexico, my wife and I had a wonderful time. We did two ocean dives, one cenote dive and even snorkelled with whale sharks - a truly amazing experience. On the two ocean dives we saw turtles, tarpoon, crabs, lobster, morays... loads and loads in great conditions!

Thanks to the kindess of this group of people, they gave us the best of themselves to spend a couple of diving days, to my wife that she has never dove before and they gave her a wonderful 2 tks Discover in open water reef, now she wants to do the full course in next holidays, I had the chance to join and dive with her in those dives, I also dove in 2 tks in "Dos Ojos" cavern and other 2 dives in Cozumel (palancar caves...awesome), so we are more than happy...greetings from argentina, thanks manuel, nati, emi and more

Playa del Carmen is for us one of the most complete destinations in the world, mainly due to its ocean diversity. We enjoyed our dives in Playa del Carmen and Cozumel, were a soft current drift you, you do not need to make any effort while you are enjoying a lot of marine life and intense colors, after this The Cenotes which are a \"religious experience"\, absolutely specials ! And if besdes this you can see more than 20 whale sharks and swim with 5 of them till be exhausted, what else can we say. And everything with the attention of Manuel and Natalia with a personalized service and mini-groups (ideal !!!), charming. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

Thanks for the 6 great dives & 2 snorkel trips! The service was excellent and the dive masters really made the total experience safe and fun; Especially for my wife who had only been on a few dives before this trip. We saw lots of turtles, tarpon, barracuda & lots of others. I even saw a sailfish cruising over a top speed! Thanks and we\'ll be back!

An special greeting to Manuel, Juan, Denise, Natalia from Marisol and Pablo, Ecuador. Dives we did (8 in total) were the best of our life, specially the Cenotes (thanks Manuel !). It was also awesome what we saw in Playa del Carmen (thanks Juan). Cozumel dives were just spectacular (Santa Rosa and Tormentos). We also could see the Whale Shark, a lifetime experience, highly recommendable ! Everything is wonderful, greetings...

Thank you for two wonderful dives. Although my stomach was not very sea-worthy on the open water dive, the view once in the water made it all worth while. We especially enjoyed the cavern diving at Dos Ojos - truly a once in a lifetime experience. Thanks for the prompt replies to our inquiries via your website and the special attention you were able to provide. I do enjoy diving in smaller groups and your establishment met our needs to a tee.

Buenos dias! We (at least I) really enjoyed our seven dives with you in february -07, the best ones were the cenote dives in Kukulkan, Litter brother and Chac mool, really wonerful (try it yo´ll like it) Even the last dive with our new dive buddie Cathrine at Mochee deep was great, sadly we missed the Bullshark.

I can strongly recommend Dive Mexico. Manuel organised two fantastic days of diving (but unfortunately I missed the Bull Shark dive!) He is an extremely friendly, knowledgeable and safety conscious instructor. The Cenote (fresh water limestone caverns) dive was a real experience - I strongly recommend it to everyone!

Such a great week !!! I booked the Dive Mexico package, which includes 6 inmersions, 2 in the ocean, 2 in cenotes or caverns, 2 cozumel, it was perfect in price and quality 9...do not miss cenote diving its a lifetime experience....you will never forget it, I have to repeat it as soon as possible.

Thanks again for the fantastic week .... I hope to come back to Playa at the end of this year. Most likely, I am going to dive this summer in Philippines, so we'll get more practice slowly ! Here it is also like diving, but then on the streets in cold rainy weather ... we are missing Playa a little, especially the dive-shop and the bar next door (say hello to our Dutch girlfriend !!)... and hope to see you later this year !!

Even if you would not do it becouse of "fear",
I would never have done diving of not being for not stealing the occasion from my boyfriend. We come to this cozy shop in the heart of Playa del Carmen and, finally, his attention to the safety in his immersions did not leave place to doubts. We were inexperienced and the attention was marvellous, especially towards me: I was very afraid! Do not get lost this adventure in a this awesome world , the sensation is of peace!!! a greeting from the Vasco country to those \ " currantes \ " in the paradise!! ¡VIVA MEXICO!!!!
